Intro
Did you know that a female cat won the Guinness World Record for reminding the oldest living cat?
It is absolutely right!
Okay, let’s get started by mentioning this wonderful story about the cat and its owner.
”I’m Victoria and this is Flossie the oldest living cat aged 26 years old”.
Defining The World’s Oldest Living Cat
According to Guinness World Records, Orpington resident Flossie, 26, is the oldest cat ever recorded. Her human equivalent age is 120 years old.
The Flossie’s cat, according to her owner Vicki Green, was “an amazing cat” who settled nicely when Cats Protection found her a new home.
Vicki reported that Flossie remained playful and loving despite her fading eyesight and deafness.
“Flossie was a special cat, and I knew it from the beginning,” Ms. Green stated.
However, I never thought I’d live with a Guinness World Records holder.
“She’s so affectionate and playful, especially sweet when you remember how old she is.”
Why does this Cat deserve the Guinness World Record?
According to Guinness World Records, Flossie was residing in a cat colony close to a Merseyside hospital when two employees adopted a cat each out of compassion.
The organization also stated that once Flossie’s 10-year cohabitation with the worker ended in her death, Flossie was adopted by her sister, who cared for her for an additional 14 years before also passing away.
After all, Ms. Green was able to rehome her because of her background in taking care of elderly cats.
